Menacing Shadows is one of the quests in Risen 3 given by Inquistion soldier Severin. If Severin dies during this quest, it is cancelled. Completing this quest earns the Steam achievement "Liberated Lands".

Severin wants to drive all of the menacing Shadows out of Tacarigua. I am to help him with this.
Follow Severin to the Gorge[]
Severin wants me to go hunting for minions near the skull cave. We have to be careful. It appears that there's a lot of them up there.

Severin says that we'll encounter the minions soon. I need to steel myself for a tough battle.
